YouthBuild’s latest cohort has graduated, and they’ve been a standout group! Graduation was packed with guests eager to join the festivities and celebrate the achievements of these hardworking students. The tiny home the cohort built throughout the program was on display outside, speeches were heard from staff and students, and cake was had by all!

YouthBuild’s new cohort is gearing up to start next week and is still taking applications! YouthBuild is a six month pre-apprenticeship contruction program for young people ages 18 – 24. Participants earn a weekly stipend while studying for their high school diploma or equivalent, gaining skills needed to join the workforce, and giving back to the community by building tiny houses for the Low Income Housing Institute. If you are interested in joining the next cohort, please contact Jamie Rose at jamie.pinilla-odea@youthcare.org.
