YouthCare is following the guidance from King County Public Health for guidelines to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Due to safety precautions, we are slowly phasing volunteers back into limited programs. All volunteers are required to by fully vaccinated for COVID if volunteering on-site at YouthCare. Click below for ways to volunteer now, and keep checking back as we will continue to add more volunteer opportunities in the next few months. Also, please check out what we need now to learn about more ways you can help remotely. Thank you!
Volunteering at YouthCare sends a powerful message to young people that you care about them and their potential. Your support helps YouthCare provide personalized services and create opportunities for young people to build trust with a caring adult while also learning important skills.
YouthCare welcomes volunteers of all ages. Due to privacy and safety policies, certain opportunities must be restricted to volunteers over the age of 18. Click the link above to learn about ways minors can get involved.
If you are over the age of 18, there are many ways you can use your skills and talents to support young people. Click the link above to learn more.
Providing meals to youth staying in our programs is our biggest need. If you’re looking for a simple yet crucial way to help, consider cooking and delivering (or order delivery from a local restaurant) to one of our youth programs. It’s a great way to show support while ensuring youth can enjoy a hot meal. Learn more about providing a meal!
We love working with groups who want to support YouthCare! To minimize the risk of exposure to COVID-19, group volunteer activities are very limited right now. Your group can help by checking out what we need now. If you would like to be notified when we resume group volunteer projects, please fill out this form.
