Last month, YouthCare organized a staff picnic at Magnuson Park and it was an absolute blast! The day was filled with delicious tacos grilled by Cocina Barelas, fun games, treats, and most importantly, an opportunity for staff members to come together outside of work and hang out.
Employees from the different corners of YouthCare programs and sites had fun playing cornhole, eating, chatting, and catching up. Staff that don’t often have the opportunity to meet on an average workday had the opportunity to sit down and enjoy the day together.
A huge thank you to Cocina Barelas, who made us the most scrumptious tacos! On the menu was a vegetarian option, a breakfast taco, and a spicy pork taco. They went beautifully with the desserts and drinks that were served!
It was renewing to be outside, near the water, and enjoying delicious food. Coming together like this is a way for YouthCare to show support and encourage an environment of fun and collaboration.
