YouthCare has been closely monitoring the evolving public health concerns pertaining to the spread of COVID-19 in our city and region. By tracking daily updates and consulting with various partner agencies, including the King County Health Department, we have decided to put all volunteer activities on hold for the foreseeable future, effective Monday, March 9th. Please know we did not make this decision lightly, as our volunteer community is truly a pillar on which we depend on for effective services and consistent support for youth. We look forward to engaging the community in serving young people as soon as is reasonably safe for youth, volunteers, and staff.
If your group or work team is looking for ways to support YouthCare, there are exciting ways to help, from sorting donations in our Basement Boutique to maintaining and transforming our program facilities and residential spaces.
