Thank you for your interest in “showing up” for our young people through volunteering.
YouthCare has a number of in-person volunteer opportunities available all year. If you don’t see an opportunity that works for you, please check out what we need now to learn about the different ways you can help today or reach out to volunteer@youthcare.org. We are always looking for new ways that our community can get involved. Thank you!
TAKE ACTION NOW!
Provide a Meal!
Food is our biggest need and last year, our volunteers showed up and helped us serve 28,697 meals across all of our programs! A healthy, warm meal is essential to helping young people feel whole. Do you enjoy meal planning or cooking? Use your skills to provide healthy and delicious meals for young people in our care whether you cook at home and deliver to one of our shelter or housing programs or bring a small group to make a meal at our Orion Center. Your support helps our youth get the nourishment they need to reach their potential!

Host a Donation Drive
Hosting a donation drive is one of the most impactful ways to “show up” for the young people at YouthCare. By mobilizing your neighbors, colleagues, or faith community, you provide the essential supplies such as new socks, underwear, full-sized toiletries, and shelf-stable snacks that restore dignity and provide immediate relief to youth in crisis. To get started, reach out to our volunteer engagement team at volunteer@youthcare.org, choose a timeframe for your drive, select a specific item from our current wish list, and create a collection point at your location. Once your drive is complete, your collective contribution ensures that our young people are fully stocked with the basic necessities they need to feel cared for and prepared for their journey toward stability.
