YouthCare’s Customer Service Training Program is a six-week program for young people ages 18 – 24 that helps participants develop the interpersonal skills critical to success in various customer service industries. The program explores industries such as hospitality, food & beverage, and retail, as well as the unique ways they serve customers. Participants learn skills such as active listening, adaptability, and fiscal responsibilities while having an opportunity to build their resumes and prepare for job interviews.
The Customer Service Training Program is located across multiple YouthCare sites. During the six-week program, participants earn a biweekly stipend while in class for the first four weeks, after which participants are connected with a community partner for a paid internship. By the end of the program, participants will have gained the skills needed to join the workforce while receiving the support necessary to experience continued success beyond the program.
