YouthCare would like to invite you to our next Virtual Lunch & Learn the SEATalk Edition: LGBTQIA and homelessness amongst youth on Friday, June 24th at 12:00 PM.

Our Community Engagement and In-kind Specialist, Amanda Ayers-Ruiz, will be presenting on this month’s topic and will be joined by our Director of Community Engagement, Randy Eseltine, along with a YouthCare staff panel. In this SEAtalk edition, we will be celebrating Pride and discussing the different ways the LGBTQIA community and youth homelessness intersect.

The topics of discussion will include:

• LGBTQIA words to know
• The origins of Pride
• The different connection points between LGBTQIA identification and experiencing homelessness 
• Personal staff anecdotes and observations of related trends amongst YouthCare clients
• Ravenna House updates
