YouthCare’s 30th Annual Luncheon was truly an incredible and inspirational event. Thanks to everyone who joined us this year, we raised a record-breaking $712,000! We offer many thanks to our Challenge Pool donors, whose generosity in advance of the event helped inspire our guests by matching all donations of $300 and above. We are also grateful to our incredible and steadfast event sponsors, who ensured that every dollar raised today goes directly to YouthCare’s programs to support homeless youth.

There were many highlights. We heard from Jacob, who credits YouthCare’s YouthBuild as the turning point that allowed him to gain the skills and confidence he needed to pursue his dreams. We checked in with Mark, who you may remember from last year’s luncheon (he’s still in school, wrapping up his B.S. in mathematics at UW!). And we were joined by a surprise special guest – Ben Haggerty (aka Macklemore), who shared his personal connection to the work of YouthCare.  We also premiered our brand new video!

For decades, this community has rallied together and stood behind our work to help young people find stability, hope, and a platform for success on which to build their futures. With your help, we have been able to help thousands of young people through YouthCare’s continuum of services with everything from basic needs to housing, education, and employment programs.

We know what works to prevent a young person from falling victim to violence on the streets and long-term homelessness. Thank you for supporting our work to get young people safely off the streets and moving forward.
