On January 1, 2016, YouthCare welcomed the University District Youth Center (UDYC) into our continuum of services. Formerly operated by Catholic Community Services, UDYC provides drop-in and basic needs services, case management, and hosts a Seattle Public Schools Interagency Academy for homeless and at-risk youth in the University District.
YouthCare and UDYC coming together ensures that there will continue to be excellent services for youth available in the University District, and ensures that the history, influence, expertise, and dedication of the UDYC staff remain a powerful resource in our community.
We are proud to continue this tremendous program that has been a life-saving support for hundreds of youth over the years and is an essential component of the network of services available to young people experiencing homelessness in Seattle.
