Thank you to all who joined us for YouthCare’s 31st Annual Luncheon! We are honored and grateful to have the dedicated support of our community behind us as we work to help homeless young people transition out of survival mode, stabilize, and plan for their futures. Your amazing generosity raised an outstanding $717,000! The wonderful Challenge Pool donors and event sponsors inspired donations and ensured that every dollar raised at the event will go directly to YouthCare’s programs. Thank you!

At the event, we heard from Mike, whose story of survival inspired us all. He credits YouthCare with helping him develop the confidence and life skills he needed to begin pursuing a career in biomedical engineering. Then Stacia took us on a journey from rocky times to where she is now—delightfully happy with a great job at Starbucks, a stable living situation, and a strong bond with family and friends. She knows she’s destined to help people, much as she was helped at YouthCare.

As YouthCare Executive Director Melinda Giovengo said at the event, “We cannot prevent all that brings youth to our doorstep – but we can help young people move forward and prevent another life lost to the street. Let us seize this special moment and never look back and wonder if we did everything we could. The young people deserve our best, so that they can be their best.”
