You’ve heard of Black Friday and Cyber Monday? Check out the newest day in the holiday season this year: #GivingTuesday. Businesses, community groups, and nonprofits around the country are coming together on November 27 to promote giving back to the community.

As an incentive to participate, The Raikes Foundation has generously offered to match up to $25,000 in donations made on November 27 to YouthCare, Friends of Youth, and Auburn Youth Resources. YouthCare works closely with these partner agencies to develop regional solutions to youth homelessness, and the Raikes Foundation has been a strong supporter of that work.

On #GivingTuesday, you too can be a supporter of critical programs to help King County’s homeless youth by making a donation directly to YouthCare, Friends of Youth, or Auburn Youth Resources. Remember, The Raikes Foundation will match the first $25,000 of donations made to these three agencies on November 27, so mark your calendars to double the impact of your gift!
