Every day, youth experiencing homelessness must focus on food, shelter, and safety. Yet during the holidays, their wishes are no different than what so many of us look forward to: a chance to gather with friends and loved ones, share a meal, and enjoy the season. With your help, we can spread joy and make the holidays feel special for youth experiencing homelessness. It can start with something as simple as a holiday gift—selected just for them. Learn more about holiday giving below!

Thank you for caring about youth who are experiencing homelessness during this holiday season. We wish you and your loved ones good health as we wrap up 2021.

Donate a Gift Card

Gift cards are one of the most frequent requests from youth as they give young people autonomy and the flexibility to choose. They also help youth find those hard-to-find sizes, specific work attire, or needed items for their new apartment! Purchased gift cards can be delivered or mailed to YouthCare’s main office (Attn: Development, 2500 NE 54th Street, Seattle, WA 98105), or purchase a gift card off the Holiday Wish List:

Thoughtfully purchased gift card ideas could include:

Please send electronic gift cards to donations@youthcare.org or see below for more info about shipping or dropping off your gifts.

HOW TO DROP OFF YOUR GIFTS:

Thank you for donating items what will make the holidays bright for youth experiencing homelessness this holiday season! Because all young people deserve to open up a present that is unused and just for them, we ask that all gifts be new and unopened.

Important: Please ship gifts or sign up for a time to drop off gifts in order to keep you, our clients, and our staff safe during the COVID-19 pandemic. Please only drop off items at our main office during your scheduled drop-off window.
