Cancelled: YouthCare Speaks
We're sorry to announce that we have had to make the difficult decision to cancel YouthCare Speaks which was scheduled for this Sunday, June 10th at the Seattle Rep. We have come across a new challenge for this event: low participation by our young people in our transitional housing programs because they are working and/or enrolled in school. So while having to cancel Sunday’s event is a disappointment, it is also good news. It means that YouthCare is doing a great job supporting its young people in finding employment and enrolling in college.
We hope that we can find a way to make this event work in the future with better consideration of complicated work and study schedules. We apologize for any inconvenience, and we thank you for your interest in hearing from our young people.
