Many Ways to Support Our Community’s Homeless Youth

Workplace and Matching Gifts

You can double or even triple the impact of your gift to YouthCare with workplace and matching gift programs. Contact your employer's human resources office to find out if you can support YouthCare via payroll deduction. Your company may also match your cash donations or even the volunteer hours you work supporting our youth: ask your employer, or check our list of companies with matching gift programs.

Gifts of Stock

Consider making a gift of stock to YouthCare.  Transferring stock is an easy way to make a tax-deductible investment in homeless youth.

Tribute Gifts

A gift to YouthCare in the name of a loved one is a meaningful way to honor or memorialize that person. Make your gift here and be sure to include the name of the person whom you are honoring in the comments section. If you would like us to send a card to your honoree or their family acknowledging your gift, please include the appropriate address. If you have any questions, please contact us at

Leadership and Legacy Giving

Mosaic Tile Art

YouthCare’s Tile Project is a training program that teaches homeless young people basic skills and prepares them for employment.  You can support it by purchasing one of the beautiful mosaics they create: view the pieces we currently have for sale.

In-Kind Giving

We rely on your generous donations of supplies such as toiletries, clothing, and sleeping bags to meet the needs of our young people and ease the strain on program budgets.  Find out what we currently need and how you can help.

Fundraise for YouthCare

House parties and events are essential to YouthCare as they engage supporters like you in our mission to end youth homelessness. They also give people the chance to put their values into action and get more involved with YouthCare. The YouthCare Community Fundraiser toolkit walks you through everything you need to know and do to organize a successful gathering that will get your friends talking, supporting, and getting more involved.

Vehicle Donation

When it’s time to move on from your old car, you don’t need to worry about the hassle of selling it or having it towed to a junk yard. YouthCare cannot accept vehicle donations directly, but we work with a great company that will! CARS will pick up any vehicle, anywhere in the U.S., running or not, auction the parts, and donate cash from the proceeds to YouthCare. Get rid of your old vehicle and help homeless youth at the same time! Learn more at

Charity Gift Cards

Charity gift cards for your friends and loved ones are a great way to support YouthCare and other local nonprofits. Your gift card recipient can choose up to three charities to receive the value of the card. When you buy via this link, YouthCare receives a $2 donation and your recipient will see a special message about YouthCare.

Rite Aid KidCents

The Rite Aid Foundation’s KidCents program allows Rite Aid wellness+ with Plenti members to round up their purchases to the nearest dollar and donate their change to support kid-focused charities. They can also designate where their change goes by choosing one of the approved KidCents charities. Beginning January 1, 2017, that includes YouthCare!
