Crosscut Highlights Local Solutions to Youth Homelessness
Crosscut has launched a multipart series on youth and young adult homelessness, which they are exploring from many angles. The multimedia pieces - including written articles, videos, and audio portraits - showcase the diversity of homeless youth experience in King County, as well as the many partners working together to solve the problem. YouthCare is honored to be featured in several of these important pieces. Some of our favorites include:
- Serving homeless youth with a continuum of customized care (February 24)
- When we paid caseworkers in cookies: a brief history of serving homeless youth (March 5)
- A geography of homelessness (March 31)
- 3 novel programs help bring street youth back home (April 21)
Be sure to stay tuned at crosscut.com for future pieces. Special thanks to the Raikes Foundation for underwriting the cost of this series.
